EAGLES ON-THE-FIELD TURNAROUND SPURS OFF-THE-FIELD BOOM

The 10-5 Eagles are "cashing in on their on-field
success," according to Phil Sheridan of the PHILADELPHIA
INQUIRER, who reports that in October, the Eagles' Web site
was ranked fifth for traffic among NFL teams. Sheridan:
"And that was before the team really took off on the field."
Sheridan writes that the team's success has "translated into
more than 200 orders per day from the Web site retail
store." Eagles Senior VP/Marketing, Business Operations &
Media Ventures Len Komoroski: "The Eagles are a hot product
right now. There are more fans out there all the time and
more ways for them to reach out and touch the team."
Sheridan also notes the Eagles' local TV ratings are
averaging 2.9 points, or 85,000 HHs, higher than last year.
Komoroski: "In television terms, that's a massive increase.
It's all connected with the product Coach [Andy] Reid and
[Dir of Football Operations] Tom Modrak have put out there
on the field" (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 12/22).
