IS O'NEAL VENTURE ABOUT TO BE DUNKED? ESPN.com's Darren
Rovell cited a source as saying that the Shaquille
O'Neal/Leonard Armato venture Dunk.net "is on its last
legs." The site sold approximately 1,000 pairs of shoes in
its 11 months of operation, despite having O'Neal and Mets C
Mike Piazza as spokespeople. Rovell: "Funny how O'Neal's
presence on the website has been decreased over the past
couple of months and [Liberty F] Rebecca Lobo is now nowhere
to be found" (ESPN.com, 12/20).

ONE VIEW: HBO/NBC's Jim Lampley, on Playboy's "Hottest
Sports Babe" poll: "The sexiest one to me is Hannah Storm.
She has two children, she is seven months pregnant, she's
got a great marriage, and she's a tremendous sportscaster. I
think all that is pretty sexy" (L.A. TIMES, 12/21).
