DISC DRIVE: KERRIGAN'S NEW SINGLE; IVERSON OFFERS HIS RAP

          In Boston, Fee & Raposa write that NANCY KERRIGAN has
     recorded a dance single called "Shining Through" that will
     appear on the new album "Reflections Off the Ice - A Musical
     Tribute to Skating."  Kerrigan: "It was fun to do something
     so totally different."  StarGames CEO and Kerrigan's husband
     JERRY SOLOMON noted that Kerrigan could become a target with
     the new recording: "Is it a possibility that Howard Stern is
     going to get hold of it and do a real number on it?  The
     answer is yes.  Hey, is Dennis Rodman a great actor?  She
     knows she isn't Barbra Streisand" (BOSTON HERALD, 10/14).
          IVERSON GIVES HIS ANSWERS ON VINYL: In N.Y., Rush &
     Molloy report that Universal Music head DOUG MORRIS will
     announce a record deal with 76ers G ALLEN IVERSON next week. 
     One music insider, on Iverson: "He doesn't rap about
     basketball or whipping Scottie Pippen's butt.  It's about
     growing up, being in love, reaching your potential.  It's
     not gangsta rap" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 10/14).
          MLS CUP: RCA Records and MLS announced that pop singer
     CHRISTINA AGUILERA will be featured as a guest performer at
     MLS Cup '99, November 21 at Foxboro Stadium (MLS).
