A'S SEND FINANCIAL PLAN TO MLB, BUT IS MORGAN STILL IN?

The Andy Dolich-led group bidding to buy the A's is
"finally sending" its financial plan to MLB, which explains
"in detail just how much cash they're willing to put on the
line" to keep the team in Oakland, according to Matier &
Ross of the S.F. CHRONICLE, who write that the plan is
"something skeptical [MLB] commissioner Bud Selig has been
waiting to see." Dolich said the amount the group is
willing to invest is "enough to close the [$122M] deal."
However, ESPN/NBC MLB analyst Joe Morgan's position in the
group "still remains in doubt," though a decision "will come
sometime this week." Should Morgan back out, the group is
"talking" with former MLBers Frank Robinson and Reggie
Jackson about joining the bid (S.F. CHRONICLE, 6/21).
