MARKETPLACE ROUND-UP

          Molson USA has inked a two-year title sponsorship with
     the weekly, internationally-syndicated "Inside the NHL"
     radio show, which is produced by Five Star Productions.  In
     addition to title rights, Molson receives 60-second spots
     throughout the two-hour show, naming rights to the player of
     the week segment and seven on-premise promos with NHL
     players.  Financial terms were not disclosed (Five Star).
     ...Harvard Univ., the Univ. of Notre Dame, the Univ. of CA
     and OH St. Univ., have "formed a collaboration to
     investigate" whether college licensed merchandise is "being
     manufactured in sweatshop conditions" (BOSTON GLOBE,
     5/7)....Rugby Canada, which has been without a sponsor since
     '97, has signed a $250,000 sponsorship deal with Ontario-
     based telecom company Newbridge Network (GLOBE & MAIL, 5/7).
     ...Wieden & Kennedy won 11 "Pencils" at the 24th annual One
     Show for creativity in advertising in N.Y. last night,
     including work for Nike.  Cliff Freeman & Partners won 10
     "Pencils," including "Best of Show" for a Fox Sports.com TV
     campaign (N.Y. TIMES, 5/7)....Nike is the official sponsor
     of "Glamour" magazine's "Top 10 College Winners" feature
     that will launch with the July issue (Glamour).
