EVENT NOTES

          Las Vegas Motor Speedway will raise ticket prices of
     "prime seats" at the track as much as 25% for next year's
     Las Vegas 400.  Upper row seats that sold for $110 this year
     will sell for $130, while others will go from $15 to $75
     (L.V. REVIEW-JOURNAL, 5/5)....The Charlotte Visitors &
     Convention Bureau estimated that racing events hosted by
     Lowe's Motor Speedway this month will have a $41.7M economic
     impact on the city.  Lowe's will host six events for the
     month of May (Charlotte Visitors & Convention Bureau).
