          PEOPLE: Fox named Keith Olbermann as the studio host
     for its "Saturday Baseball Game of the Week."  Olbermann
     will replace Chip Caray, who will take on a play-by-play
     role and team with analyst Jeff Torborg (Fox)....NBC News'
     Brian Williams will host NBC Sports' NASCAR coverage this
     November.  Williams will host the BGN Miami 300 on November
     13 and the Winston Cup's Miami 400 the next day (NBC).
          NOTES: WEWS-ABC in Cleveland has been awarded the local
     rights to show the Browns-Steelers regular-season opener on
     September 12, at a cost "estimated" at $400,000.  The game
     will also air on ESPN.  Channel 5 will show any Browns game
     on ESPN for the next four years (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER,
     4/21)....NFL.com and ESPN.com generated more than 45 million
     page views, 5.6 million visits and 3.6 million unique users
     during the April 17-19 NFL Draft.  Five years ago, 50,000
     unique users visited the site during the Draft.  The
     combined site received more than 20,000 questions for the
     chats, including 8,000 in the first two hours of the draft
     (NFL)....Time Warner Communications, Orlando's "dominant
     cable provider," still doesn't offer SportsChannel FL, the
     last major market in Florida not to "offer the channel." 
     That means Devil Rays fans in Orlando can only watch 30 of
     the team's 162 games this season.  Time Warner spokesperson
     Brian Craven: "We already offer more than 400 baseball games
     on our channels, including ESPN, ESPN2, Sunshine Network,
     WGN-TV, WTBS-TV and Fox" (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 4/20)....Due to the
     increased number of major boxing fights, PPV event revenue
     soared to a record $207M in the first quarter of '99, up
     171% from the same period last year and "nearly matching the
     entire revenue" for all of '98 (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 4/22).
