CAN BOSTON GET OFF IT'S TUNA DIET? WEEI MAY DO PARCELLS SHOW

          Boston's all-sports WEEI-AM is considering asking Jets
coach Bill Parcells to do a weekly radio show, according to
Will McDonough of the BOSTON GLOBE, who wrote that the move
"could be a first. A coach from another team, in another
city, having his own show in a rival city." WEEI is
"losing" its Patriots shows and is "going to try and trump
the loss with Parcells' reports during a stint with Eddie
Andelman and Dale Arnold" (BOSTON GLOBE, 3/27). In Boston,
Jim Baker wrote that WEEI "tried to get" Bills QB Doug
Flutie to combat WNRB's Pats show, but he declined. One
"report" had Flutie seeking $100,000 (BOSTON HERALD, 3/28).
