          CA-based entertainment agency Riprock created a one-
     night media hit in L.A. for new ATP Tour No. 1 player CARLOS
     MOYA.  Moya attended the world premier of CLINT EASTWOOD's
     "True Crime" on Monday and conducted interviews with more
     than 20 media outlets, including "ET" and "Access Hollywood"
     (Riprock)....Broncos QB BRIAN GRIESE turned down a role in
     OLIVER STONE's "ANY GIVEN SUNDAY" (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS,
     3/18)....LATRELL SPREWELL was a late scratch at a St. John's
     Univ. law school forum, where his agent and lawyers
     discussed Sprewell's pending case against the NBA.   About
     100 students attended the forum.  Sprewell's agent ROBERT
     GIST said that Sprewell had another obligation (N.Y. DAILY
     NEWS, 3/18)....GARTH BROOKS "attracted many of the 4,908"
     fans in attendance at the Padres' spring training game
     yesterday.  Brooks went 0-4 and is still hitless in spring
     training (ARIZONA DAILY STAR, 3/18)....Reds SS BARRY LARKIN
     is selling his 20,000-square-foot Cincinnati home for $3.2M
     (CINCINNATI BUSINESS COURIER, 3/15 issue)....PELE is seeking
     foreign partners to invest in a soccer "super league"
     separate from Brazil's soccer confederation.  He says he
     will "approach" Brazil's top clubs about joining the league,
     which will be run by Milan-based Media Partners Int'l and
     Pele Sports & Marketing (AP, 3/16).
