NFL MARKETING NEWS: CARDS FLY HIGH; JAKE REED PUT TO BED

          America West Airlines has introduced a new red- and-
     white Boeing 757, emblazoned with the NFL Cardinals helmet
     and logo on its tail, as part of a four-year marketing
     agreement which provides the airline with exclusive rights
     as the team's official airline sponsor.  The plane is the
     seventh themed aircraft in America West's fleet, which
     includes Suns and D-Backs planes (America West).
          REED'S SELECT COMPANY? MN-based bed company Select
     Comfort gave Vikings WR Jake Reed a new bed after the WR
     underwent back surgery.  Reed: "It's a great bed ... and I
     feel great" (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 12/17).
