          Forty-six states unanimously accepted the $206B deal
     with tobacco companies, which could be signed today (Mult,
     11/21)....Hawks F Christian Laettner has hired Lon Babby as
     his new agent (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 11/22)....The NHL has
     hopes of "another nifty sports-stat technology" being
     developed by MA-based Trakus, which would be able to analyze
     the "speed and oomph" of players via a radio-tag in the
     players helmets.  The system could be in place by the '99
     Stanley Cup playoffs (N.Y. TIMES MAGAZINE, 11/22)....Bank of
     America is "orchestrating a two-year, region-by-region
     rollout" of its name change on all NationsBank signs.  But
     the NationsBank sign at Ericsson Stadium has already been
     changed to Bank of America (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 11/21).
