AUGUSTA NATIONAL COMES OUT TO REVEAL CHARITY CONTRIBUTIONS

          Despite its "reputation for secrecy," the Augusta
     National Golf Club revealed Friday that it had given $3M in
     charitable donations to three organizations, according to
     Damon Cline of the AUGUSTA CHRONICLE.  Two local nonprofit
     organizations, the CSRA Community Foundation and Fore!
     Augusta, received $1M each, while the other $1M went to The
     First Tee initiative.  The announcement came via a one-page
     release and "marks the first time" the club has publicly
     announced a financial contribution (AUG. CHRONICLE, 11/14).
