THE DAILY WANTS YOUR SPORTS INDUSTRIALIST OF 1998

          THE SPORTS BUSINESS DAILY is now accepting nominations
     for our '98 SPORTS INDUSTRIALIST OF THE YEAR award.  The
     annual award honors a person or entity which best embodies
     our vision of the industry for the past year: sports as a
     distinct industry, sports as a global business and sports as
     entertainment.  All nominees should have a clear and
     definable impact on the trade through creative and
     innovative thoughts and practices.  Only those who would
     find the honor meaningful should be nominated.  The winner
     will be selected by the editorial staff of THE DAILY.
     Nominations must be made by Wednesday, December 9.
