EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          TIM CONNOLLY was named Vikings Exec VP & GM.  Connolly
     was most recently Hunt Sports Group President and was the
     Chiefs' COO from '89-96.  Vikings Senior VP/Football
     Operations JEFF DIAMOND will now report to Connolly, who
     will report to President GARY WOODS and Owner RED MCCOMBS
     (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS, 10/27)....The AHL named JAMIE
     LEAVER to Assistant Manager of Communications & Media
     Relations.  Leaver spent last season as an intern in the
     media relations department for the Mighty Ducks (AHL).
     ....RANDI MITNICK joined NMG as Account Supervisor.  Most
     recently she was an independent sports publicist after being
     in-house publicist at Steiner Sports Marketing (NMG).
     ....TX-based Universal Sports America named DENISE HART as
     Dir of Operations for its Sports Retail & Sponsorship
     Department.  Hart who worked for ten years at Nike (USA).
