OFF THE TEEBOX: O'MEARA TO LEAVE IMG? NORMAN TO LEAVE COBRA?

          GOLFWEEK's "Forecaddie" reports on speculation that
     Mark O'Meara "will end his long relationship with" IMG at
     the end of the year and "venture out on his own."  The
     "Forecaddie" also reports Great White Shark Enterprises
     President Bart Collins said that it is "unlikely" that Greg
     Norman will re-sign with clubmaker Cobra Golf when his
     endorsement contract expires in '99 (GOLFWEEK, 10/24 issue).
          HITTING LONG AND STRAIGHT: TX-based clubmaker Adams
     Golf ranked fifth on INC's top 500 fastest-growing private
     companies in the U.S.  Adams is also No. 1 on the top 10
     list of fastest-growing companies that have also appeared on
     the list in previous years (INC, 10/20 issue).
