HE SUSHIS, HE SCORES! VISA/NFL SIGN INT'L PARTNERSHIP

          Visa has extended its partnership with the NFL to
     become the official and preferred payment card of the NFL in
     Mexico and Japan.  Visa gains exclusivity in the consumer
     payment category through March 31, 1999 (Visa).
          "MNF" QBS GET BLITZED: Sports Specialties will debut
     its new all-white "Blitz" cap on the sidelines of this
     Monday's Chiefs-Steelers game.  Chiefs QB Elvis Grbac and
     Steelers QB Kordell Stewart will wear the cap.  The "Blitz"
     cap will debut league-wide November 1 (Sports Specialties).
          POINTING THE FINGER: In Philadelphia, Paul Domowitch
     writes that "several industry insiders are pointing the
     finger at" NFLP President Sara Levinson for the "defections"
     of more than a half-dozen top NFLP execs, including Senior
     VP/Consumer Products Division Jim Connelly.  One source, on
     Levinson: "She does things differently than most of the
     people there are used to" (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 10/23).
