          NEW YORK magazine reports that "handlers" of free agent
     G Oded Kattash of Israel, who is expected to sign with the
     Knicks when the lockout ends, "salivate at the promotional
     opportunities that are likely to rain down on a major Jewish
     pro athlete" in N.Y.  Kattash, who hasn't officially signed
     with the team yet: "If I make it in New York, all the Jewish
     people would be excited, and it would be good for them" (NEW
     YORK, 10/12)....Strike Ten Entertainment and the Tequila
     Rose Distilling Company have signed a multi-year partnership
     agreement. The program will be highlighted by the Tequila
     Rose National Doubles Tournament and the Tequila Rose
     Challenge (Strike Ten)....Tiffeny Milbrett, a member of the
     '96 U.S. Women's Olympic Soccer Team, has retained OR-based
     Intersport Management as her marketing rep (Intersport).
