SEAN "PUFFY" COMBS will not make his acting debut in
OLIVER STONE's film, "On Any Given Sunday." A spokesperson
for Combs said that he quit the production because Stone
"changed the shooting schedule too many times" (PHILADELPHIA
DAILY NEWS, 9/18). In Denver, Norm Clarke reports that
Stone, AL PACINO and an associate watched Sunday's Broncos-
Cowboys game in a private box at Mile High Stadium. A
source close to the film said that the league "may fine the
Broncos if they were too hospitable." The league has
reportedly asked teams not to cooperate on the project.
Broncos Senior Dir of Media Relations JIM SACCOMANO said
that someone in the team's front office was "aware of the
presence of Stone and Pacino" but that he didn't know how
they got their tickets (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 9/18). ....An
upcoming two-hour episode of "Walker, Texas Ranger," will
use video from Saturday's Z-MAX 250 ARCA race at TX Motor
Speedway. Actor CHUCK NORRIS' son, ERIC NORRIS, is
currently running a full season in the NASCAR Winston West
division and his car will be filmed for the episode. Dr
Pepper has joined Norris' regular sponsor, ProLong, on the
side of his car to get exposure on the TV episode, due out
in January. Norris "is still looking for more financial
backing" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 9/18)....CNN's Vince Cellini
reported that at Wednesday's White House gala to honor Czech
Republic President VACLAV HAVEL, Penguins' LW JAROMIR JAGR
left feeling "unfulfilled" because he did not ask U.S. First
Lady HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON to dance. Jagr: "Hillary was
dancing like nobody else. I walked over halfway, but I
changed my mind at the last minute" (CNN, 9/17).
