EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          JULIA LEVERING, the first VP of the USTA, will succeed
     HARRY MARMION as President of the organization.  Marmion
     will remain on the board for two years in the position of
     immediate past President.  Levering was first elected to the
     USTA Board of Dir in '94.  MERVIN HELLER will become first
     VP of the Board (USTA)....The USOC named SCOTT BLACKMUN as
     its General Counsel/Dir of Legal Affairs.  Blackmun had been
     a Managing Partner of the CO-based law firm Hogan & Hartson
     since '94 (USOC)....The 76ers named KAREN FRASCONA Dir of
     Communications.  Frascona served as Associate AD/Media
     Relations at Villanova Univ. (76ers)....The Marketing Arm
     hired GWIN BARR, former SI Sports Marketing Manager, to open
     its office in Charlotte, NC.  Barr will be responsible for
     leveraging corporate sports sponsorship for companies based
     in NC and SC and expanding NASCAR promo involvement (TMA).
