SECOND ANNUAL BSAA SPORTS CONFERENCE OCTOBER 8-11 IN L.A.

          The Black Sports Agents Association (BSAA) is pleased
     to announce the Second Annual BSAA Sports Conference which
     will take place October 8-11, 1998, at the Los Angeles
     Airport Sheraton Gateway Hotel.  Registration is $215 for
     BSAA members and $250 for non-members.  Space is limited! 
     Renowned as the largest gathering of minority sports execs
     in the nation, the conference will feature a wide variety of
     intensive seminars and workshops addressing key issues
     affecting the practice of sports management and professional
     athletic representation.  Topics include: NBA Lockout,
     Ethical Practice in Sports, NFL and NBA Collective
     Bargaining Agreements, Salary Trends, How to Become a
     Successful Sports Agent, Marketing Your Client and
     Agent/Player Relationships.  Honorees at this year's BSAA
     Impact Award Dinner, which is slated for Saturday, October
     10th, include track and field legend Jackie Joyner-Kersee,
     NFL HOFer and prominent businessman Mel Farr and NBA all-
