FACILITY NOTES

          The San Antonio City Council received a $150,000
     donation from the Spurs and is "expected" to use it to hire
     consultants to study a proposed new arena for the team (SAN
     ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 9/10)....The MLS Crew have sold 10 of
     their 20 club loge boxes since the new stadium seating plan
     was unveiled last week.  Prices range from $9,180 to $13,770
     (COLUMBUS DISPATCH, 9/10)....Goal Group Consulting and
     PricewaterhouseCoopers were retained by the City of
     Baltimore to advise on a possible replacement to Baltimore
     Arena (Goal Group)....On Sunday, Houlihan's Stadium will
     host the last of "nearly" 1,100 events since its
     groundbreaking in '66.  The double ticket includes the MLS
     Mutiny-MetroStars game followed by a concert featuring the
     Goo Goo Dolls (ST. PETERSBURG TIMES, 9/11).
