ERICSSON SETS A NEW TEA TIME; WILL SPONSOR LIPTON IN 2000

Ericsson Mobile Phones will become the title sponsor of
The Lipton Championships tennis event beginning in 2000,
after Lipton's title sponsorship ends following next year's

($4.8M) and total attendance (228,968 in '98). Ericsson
adds the tournament to its other tennis properties in the
Americas, including title sponsorship of the combined Copa
