          In Canada, Shaw Cable announced that it will carry the
     new CTV Sport Net (TORONTO SUN, 8/20)....The CFL Toronto
     Argonauts have lifted the TV blackouts of five of their six
     remaining home games.  Reports in Toronto had CFL execs
     asking Argos President Bob Nicholson to lift the blackouts
     because "it is failing to boost attendance and has reduced
     the CFL's exposure" (GLOBE & MAIL, 8/20)....Fox Sports West
     2 will honor the late Jim Murray by telecasting his recent
     interview on a special one-hour replay of the "Carl's Jr.
     Big Show" Friday, August 20 at 7:00pm PT (FSW2)....Former
     Bruins RW Cam Neely has written his first book, "Hockey For
     Everybody."  The guide to the game's rules and equipment,
     along with basic hockey skills and strategies, will be
     released within a month (Woolf Assoc.)....Lifetime TV added
     former Comets G Fran Harris to its WNBA announcing team
     (Lifetime)....ESPN Video released "X Games '98: The Moves
     and the Music From the Winter and Summer X Games" (ESPN).
