DETROIT FREE PRESS REPORT SAYS ANNA DROVE SERGEI FROM IMG

          Sergei Fedorov's decision to drop his agent, IMG's Mike
     Barnett, "came at the urging of his Russian girlfriend,
     teenage tennis sensation Anna Kournikova," according to
     Jason La Canfora of the DETROIT FREE PRESS.  Both were
     represented by IMG and sources say Fedorov "was happy there,
     but Kournikova was feuding with her agent, Tony Godsick,
     because she felt slighted that IMG was taking on other young
     female tennis stars."  Sources of La Canfora say that both
     Fedorov and Kournikova "are close to signing deals" with VA-
     based Advantage International (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 8/14).
