REEBOK TO OPEN PROMO BLITZ BEHIND WILLIAMS & RAFTER

          Reebok plans "a huge advertising and promotional blitz"
     around the U.S. Open and two of its "key spokespersons,"
     Venus Williams and Patrick Rafter, according to Daniel
     Kaplan of the SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL.  For the first time,
     Williams will wear a new Reebok outfit for each round she
     plays at the Open, while Rafter will unveil a new men's
     tennis outfit at the Reebok store in N.Y.'s Lincoln Center
     on August 24.  Reebok also plans to unveil a 126-by-95-foot
     billboard of Williams, with its logo on the side, and will
     host a two-hour interactive tennis event at the All-Star
     Cafe in Times Square, featuring Williams and brothers Luke
     and Murphy Jensen (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 8/10 issue).
