IN A LEAGUE OF HER OWN: BATALIS NAMED ABL VP/SALES

          ABL Blizzard GM PAM BATALIS was named ABL VP/Sales. 
     CHRISTOPHER SIENKO, the Blizzard's Dir of Marketing &
     Corporate Sponsorships, will serve as interim GM.  In her
     new role, Batalis will be responsible for league-wide sales
     strategies, including national corporate sponsor 
     solicitation.  Batalis will remain in the Hartford national
     sales office (ABL).  ABL CEO and co-Founder GARY CAVALLI
     said that he "hopes to name Batalis' successor by the start
     of the league's third season," and that Sienko "will be
     among the leading candidates" (HARTFORD COURANT, 8/7).
