NAMES IN THE NEWS

          Woolf Associates COO LARRY MOULTER was included in the
     BOSTON GLOBE's "Ubiquitous Bostonians" section, a series on
     Bostonians "who seem to show up everywhere."  While three
     things matter in Boston -- sports, politics and revenge --
     Moulter might add "the personal touch" and "schmoozing" to
     the list (BOSTON GLOBE, 8/2)....ESPN's ROBIN ROBERTS was
     profiled in PARADE Magazine.  Roberts, on ESPN choosing the
     NFL over MLB in scheduling conflicts: "NFL over baseball!" 
     Roberts, on women's boxing: "It's very hard for me to
     criticize anyone who's 'going for it,' yet it's tough to
     accept" (PARADE, 8/2 issue).....Representing NASCAR, Daytona
     Int'l Speedway and Int'l Speedway Corp., NASCAR President
     BILL FRANCE accepted the inaugural Goodyear Heart of Racing
     Award (NASCAR)....Longtime AP golf writer BOB GREEN, who
     covered more than 1,000 tournaments, died of cancer.  He was
     66 (AP/Mult., 8/1)....Training for his upcoming movie "On
     Any Given Sunday," actor DENNIS QUAID took part in a 49ers
     practice on Thursday (OAKLAND TRIBUNE, 8/1).
