PYTHONS SNAKE A DEAL WITH ADIDAS; PSA DRAWS WELL IN DALLAS

          The Premier Soccer Alliance (PSA) Portland Pythons have
     signed a one-year deal with adidas, under which adidas will
     serve as the official uniform and equipment provider for the
     team in its inaugural PSA season.  The Pythons make their
     '98 debut Saturday at the Rose Garden against Mexico (PSA).
          OPENING NIGHT: Saturday night's inaugural PSA match
     between the Dallas Sidekicks and a Mexican national team
     drew 10,731 to Reunion Arena (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 7/26).
