ESPN's "Outside the Lines: Babe Ruth's Larger Than Life

licensing and marketing." Ross: "Ruth is number two or
three on the top of the list, and that's compared to James
Dean, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe." Currently, Ruth has
400 licensed products and more than 1,000 advertising
connections, which earn his heirs "more than" $1M a year
(ESPN, 7/21). As part of ESPN SportsZone's week-long
feature on Ruth in conjunction with last night's "Outside
The Lines," Ted Williams will chat on SportsZone today at
