EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS: GET PROMOTED, PACER PEOPLE!

          The Pacers announced several promotions within the
     organization: DAVID KAHN was promoted to GM; BOB METELKO to
     Senior VP/Corporate Administration & Finance; DALE RATERMANN
     to Senior VP/Marketing;  RICK FUSON to Senior VP/Facilities;
     BILLY KNIGHT to Senior VP/Basketball; KATHY JORDAN to
     VP/Communications; LARRY TAYLOR to VP/Management Information
     Resources; DOUG MCKEE VP/Controller; RICH KAPP VP/Facility
     Services & Merchandising; EDDIE GROVER to VP/Facility
     Operations; HARRY JAMES to VP/Facility Administration; JEFF
     BOWEN to VP/Scheduling Production Services; COLLEEN MOORE to
     Dir of Human Resources; TOM RUTLEDGE to Dir of Event
     Production; TERRY STEWART to Box Office Dir; BOB SHORTER to
     Dir of Facility Safety/Crowd Management; LARRY JACKSON to
     Facility Safety & Crowd Management Coordinator; and LAURA
     KELLY to Box Office Manager (THE DAILY).
          OTHER MOVES: GARY DARCY has been named VP/Marketing for
     the NHRA.  He was most recently in marketing and sales at
     health car company Allergan Inc. (INDIANAPOLIS STAR/NEWS,
     7/17)....The Senators promoted PHIL LEGAULT to VP/
     Communications from Dir of Media Relations.  The team also
     promoted MORGAN QUARRY from Assistant Dir of Media Relations
     to Dir of Media Relations, and hired STEVE KEOUGH as Manager
     of Media Relations.  Keough was most recently Dir of Media
     and PR with the AAA Ottawa Lynx (Senators)....Former ski
     racer, and Boston Univ. MBA student LISA IRELAN has been
     hired as Dir of Operations for MA-based The Giving Back Fund,
     which establishes and maintains charitable foundations for
     pro athletes and entertainers (The Giving Back Fund).
