EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Taylor Made Golf Co. Inc. "laid off 29 full-time
     employee July 2," including BRIAN FORTINI, Senior Marketing
     Manager/Advertising; DAN ANDERSON, Dir of Marketing for Golf
     Ball Products; and LIZ MUELLER, Assistant Product Manager
     for Women's Products (GOLFWEEK, 7/11 issue).  Fortini has
     been named VP/Sales & Marketing for McHenry Metals Golf
     Corp. (McHenry Metals)....FL-based Globe Facility Services
     (GFS) promoted BRIAN OHL to the newly created position of
     VP/Facility Management.  In his new post, Ohl will be
     responsible for overseeing the operations of all GFS arena
     facilities.  GFS provides management and management
     consulting for arenas, convention centers and stadiums in
     the U.S. and the Far East (GFS)...Kaleidoscope Sports &
     Entertainment (KS&E) named JOYCE JAFFE VP/Finance.  Jaffe
     had been at Viacom for the past 11 years, most recently as
     Dir of Finance for Original Programming at Showtime Networks
     (KS&E)....The USOC named VELINDA BAKER Dir of Education
     Resources in the Sport Development Division.  Baker had been
     an adjunct instructor at OK State Univ. (USOC).... Dunlop
     Maxfli Sports Corporation named KENT PACHL Western Region
     Dir and GREG SPINETTI Central Region Dir.  Pachl had been
     Regional Business Manager for Nabisco Biscuit and Spinetti
     managed the regional operations for Perrier Group of America
     (Dunlop)....The Harlem Globetrotters promoted KELLY LOVELL
     from Senior Marketing Coordinator to Regional Marketing Dir
     (Globetrotters)....BILL CURRY has been named COO of the
     National Consortium for Academics and Sports (Northeastern
     Univ. Center for the Study of Sport in Society).
