     NHL Atlanta Thrashers.  Waddell is "expected to sign a four-

     Times Deputy Sports Editor RON RAPOPORT will return to
     writing a column on Monday, taking over PHIL ROSENTHAL's
     "Between the Lines" column.  Rosenthal will become the
