GAINING AN ADVANTAGE: AGENCY BUYS CYCLING EVENT COMPANY

          Advantage Int'l has acquired CT-based cycling event
     company International Cycling Productions (ICP), a
     subsidiary of Sports&Company.  ICP owns and/or operates
     several cycling properties, including the First Union USPRO
     Cycling Championship, the Atlanta Grand Prix and the Tour of
     America.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.  Advantage
     acquired ICP from the company's Owner & President, Michael
     Halstead, who will leave ICP, but remain CEO of
     Sports&Company.  Advantage Marketing President Harlan Stone
     called cycling a "growth sport with tremendous public and
     sponsor appeal," and added Advantage sees "future
     opportunities in related events such as triathlons, road
     races and in-line skating" (Advantage International).
