FROM ZORRO TO CUBAS? BANDERAS TIED TO EL DUQUE MOVIE

          Yankess P ORLANDO (EL DUQUE) HERNANDEZ "will be the
     focus of a feature film about to be shopped" with CUBA
     GOODING JR. playing Hernandez and ANTONIO BANDERAS tapped to
     play his agent JOE CUBAS, according to Michael Fleming of
     DAILY VARIETY.  A package with rights and the actors "is
     being shepherded by CAA.  The film will be produced by
     Vanguard's JOHN WILLIAMS, whose credits include "Seven Years
     in Tibet."  Banderas, Gooding and AVIKA GOLDSMAN will also
     be named producers (DAILY VARIETY, 6/19).
