FACILITY NOTES

          In N.Y., Jack Newfield writes on a new Yankee Stadium
     under the header, "The Boss Is Destined To Strike Out In
     Manhattan."  Newfield: "The West Side stadium is too bereft
     of public support to ever actually be built" (N.Y. DAILY
     NEWS, 6/12)....A new 1.33 mile auto race track is being
     built near Mexico City.  The track is being developed by
     Jose and Julian Abed, members of "one of the preeminent
     families in Mexican motorsports," and is already well under
     construction (NATIONAL SPEED SPORT NEWS, 6/3 issue).
