"THE (FOOTBALL) PLAYER"? WHITE PLANS A DENVER FILM STUDIO

Packers DE REGGIE WHITE is set to "unveil his plans"
for a $100M film production and distribution studio based in
Denver, according to Al Lewis of the DENVER POST. The new
venture, called REGGIE WHITE STUDIOS (RWS), will produce
major motion pictures, made-for-TV movies and original cable
TV programming. White's partners in the company include
Rockies Vice Chair RICHARD MONFORT and Denver businessman
RODNEY LINAFELTER. Linafelter recently helped finance the
film "Reggie's Prayer," which starred White as a pro
football player who leaves the game to teach and coach a
high school football team. RWS spokesperson Tate Shetterly
said the new studio will "put a heavy emphasis on family and
     children programming with excellent merchandising
opportunities." Shetterly added that a specific location has
not yet been found, but that the studio "would definitely be
headquartered in downtown Denver" (DENVER POST, 6/10).
