          PGA Tour money leader DAVID DUVAL is profiled in USA
     TODAY and the N.Y. TIMES.  In N.Y., Clifton Brown writes
     that while Duval's "marketability has risen, he has
     definitely not gone Hollywood" (N.Y. TIMES, 5/28)....
     ..SYLVESTER STALLONE is at Monaco's Grand Prix researching
     his $100M movie titled "Formula One."  Former Ferrari racer
     GERHARD BERGER is a consultant on the film.  Stallone said
     that he is the only "established actor" in the film, which
     "will shoot all over the world" (USA TODAY, 5/28)....Former
     Suns G KEVIN JOHNSON received his Bachelor of Arts Degree
     for political science on Tuesday, from the Univ. of CA
     (OAKLAND TRIBUNE, 5/27)....Dodgers OF GARY SHEFFIELD
     officially launched Gary Sheffield Limousine Inc. in St.
     Petersburg, FL.  A rep said that this "is Phase One of a
     corporate services business Sheffield plans to develop that
     would include a new downtown spa and salon."  Sheffield
     plans to put some of the proceeds from the business toward
     his nonprofit foundation (ST. PETE TIMES, 5/27)....South
     Korean LPGA golfer SE RI PAK, who won the McDonald's LPGA
     Championship two weeks ago, was profiled by B.J. Lee in
     NEWSWEEK's overseas edition.  South Korea "is obsessed by
     golf. ... Pak's victory and the international hoopla gave
     beleaguered South Koreans a renewed sense of national
     pride."  Pak has a 10-year, $3.6M deal with Samsung, and the
     company said her win gave them about $150M worth of free
     publicity.  Samsung "predicts that Pak will be worth about
     $1 billion to them over the next few years" (NEWSWEEK, 6/1).
