EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Fox Sports Net Exec BOB THOMPSON was named Exec VP and
     head of Fox Sports Int'l.  He will supervise Fox Sports'
     int'l activities.  He succeeds RICHARD BATTISTA, who was
     named Exec VP for Fox Channels Group (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER,
     5/8)....JULIE WILD was named Account Exec for the Detroit
     office of Fox Sports Net (FSN)....Int'l Speedway Corp. named
     DAVID TALLEY as its new Dir of Corporate Communications. 
     Talley comes from CNN, where he served as Senior Manager of
     Public Relations (ISC)....WILFORD GODBOLD was elected to K2's
     Board of Directors.  He is CEO of L.A.-based Zero Corp. (WALL
     STREET JOURNAL, 5/8)....Sports writer LIZ CLARKE has joined
     the Washington Post.  She previously wrote for the Charlotte
     Observer, Dallas Morning News and USA Today (Chris Economaki,
     NATIONAL SPEED SPORT NEWS, 4/29).
