AND IT'S THREE-, FOUR-, FIVE-STAR DINING AT THE OLD BALLGAME

Restauranteurs Larry and Mark Levy, whose company Levy
Enterprises (LE) "supplies premium concessions" to skyboxes,
luxury suites and private clubs in sports arenas around the
country, are profiled by Richard Gibson of the WALL STREET
JOURNAL. LE's client list, which includes Wrigley Field,
Jacobs Field and Arrowhead Stadium, will jump from 14 to 27
"within the next year," and Gibson writes that the
"standard" Levy ballpark fare includes "couscous with
apricots and currants, not Cracker Jack." LE runs "some of
the top dining spots in Chicago," in contrast to its two
biggest arena competitors, Aramark Corp. and Sportservice
Corp., which are "food-service companies" that also run
stadium stands. LE has partnered with Ogden Entertainment,
which provides stadium stand fare at LE arenas. Larry Levy
sees plenty of "growth possibilities" in sports catering,
including college games (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 4/30).
