76ERS PRESIDENT CROCE GETS RINGING ENDORSEMENT FROM SNIDER

Pat Croce, "despite a contract that expires this week,
will remain in his role as president of the 76ers,"
according to Phil Jasner of the PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS.
76ers Chair Ed Snider said Croce can "absolutely" expect a
new deal: "There's no question I want Pat. He's done an
incredible job." Croce: "I never comment on my personal
situation, but I don't think it's a question [that he will
remain as president]." Croce is an approximately 2% owner
in Comcast-Spectacor, the conglomerate that owns the 76ers,
Flyers, AHL Phantoms, CoreStates Center, CoreStates Spectrum
