LAYING DOWN THE LAW-TON: ADVANTAGE ACQUIRES HOCKEY REP

          VA-based Advantage Int'l, a subsidiary of Octagon, has
     agreed to acquire Lawton Sport & Financial Inc.  Advantage
     will create a new Hockey Division headed by Brian Lawton, a
     former NHL player who founded Lawton S&F in '93.  Lawton,
     who currently represents more than 40 pro hockey players,
     will become Dir of Hockey for Advantage (Advantage Int'l).
          HEAD CORNERSTONE: TN-based Gaylord Entertainment has
     acquired Cornerstone Sports, which will now operate under
     Gaylord Entertainment's Idea Entertainment Division. 
     Cornerstone, which manages more than 20 pro golfers, will
     maintain its corporate offices in TX, AZ, Australia and
     Japan.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed (Cornerstone).
