FACILITY NOTE: BRONCOS STADIUM INCHES CLOSER TO BALLOT

In Denver, Peggy Lowe reports that the CO House voted
yesterday 36-29 to approve a compromise bill that calls for
a $266M taxpayer subsidy for the Broncos' "roof-less
replacement to Mile High Stadium." The measure must be
passed by the 35-member Senate, perhaps as early as today,
before it can go to CO Gov. Roy Romer for his signature and,
finally, on the November ballot (DENVER POST, 4/21).
