MARCELO MANIA IN CHILE: Ratings in Chile for the men's
final of the Lipton Championships, in which Marcelo Rios
beat Andre Agassi, were the highest ever, averaging a 56.1,
with a high of 69 during the third set. The previous high
was a 48.2 for a soccer league final. Rios arrives in Chile
today, where he will be received by the President after
traveling in a motorcade (THE DAILY).
