IT'S NOT PERSONAL, IT'S STRICTLY BUSINESS: PACINO'S GRIDIRON

AL PACINO has "agreed to star" as a coach in OLIVER
STONE's football film project, according to Kirk Honeycutt
of the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. While all deals "must still be
negotiated, Pacino's involvement will result in a green
light" from Warner Bros. for the untitled film. The film is
"also likely" to see the movie debut of SEAN "PUFFY" COMBS,
who would portray a football player. The film, which is
about a quarterback forced to play hurt to prevent losing
his job to a younger player, "will look at the business of
pro football much the way Stone's 'Wall Street' examined the
     investment community" (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 4/1).
