          Actor KEN HOWARD, star of "The White Shadow" basketball
     series on CBS in the late '70s, will play the head of a
     sports agency in the LUKE PERRY pilot, "The Game," to air on
     ABC (DAILY VARIETY, 3/27)....JOE MONTANA and RONNIE LOTT are
     Exec Producers of "Adventures with Kanga Roddy," an
     educational children's offered for syndication this year
     (N.Y. POST, 3/27)....CHRISTIA ALOU, the daughter of Expos
     manager FELIPE ALOU and sister of Astros OF MOISES ALOU, is
     looking to become a certified player agent.  But the MLPBA
     cites a previous ruling that says such a certification could
     create a conflict of interest.  Christia has asked that the
     policy be reversed.  A decision could come within a month
     (BASEBALL WEEKLY, 3/25 issue)...SAMMY SOSA purchased 320
     tickets for Miami school children for Tuesday's Cubs-Marlins
     Opening Day at Pro Player Park.  Sosa had promised to buy
     the tickets for the kids during his "Sammy Claus" seven-city
     holiday tour last December (THE DAILY)....Raptors G DOUG
     CHRISTIE has hired DWIGHT MANLEY as his new agent (TORONTO
     SUN, 3/26)....MUHAMMAD ALI was on Capitol Hill to "fight for
     more research money for Parkinson's Disease."  Dr. ABRAHAM
     LIEBERMAN, Ali's doctor and head of the Nat'l Parkinson
     Foundation: "He's not bitter, and he's not angry that he has
     Parkinson's Disease.  It is, he feels, something that God
     gave him" (CNBC, 3/26)....On CBS's "Late Show," stage
     manager BIFF HENDERSON filed a report from the Yankees'
     spring training camp.  Yankees players BERNIE WILLIAMS,
     DAVID CONE, DAVID WELLS, DARRYL STRAWBERRY, JORGE POSADA and
     JOE GIRARDI appeared in the piece (CBS, 3/26).
