          TIGER TALK: TIGER WOODS is profiled by Jonathan
     Abrahams in GOLF MAGAZINE under the header "Golden Child or
     Spoiled Brat?"  Abrahams attended an IMG luncheon set up for
     journalists in Orlando with Woods.  Abrahams, following the
     luncheon, on Woods: "So he makes some questionable comments
     now and again.  Chalk it up to youthful exuberance.  The
     same stuff that gets him in trouble is what makes him a fun
     guy to shoot the bull with when neither of us are doing our
     jobs" (GOLF, 4/98 issue).  Woods told Augusta execs that for
     The Masters champion's dinner, he wants a menu that includes
     cheeseburgers, french fries, grilled chicken sandwiches and
     milkshakes (Mult., 3/13).
          MORE NAMES: JAY LENO, on Jazz F KARL MALONE saying he
     will carry a gun due to death threats he's received: "So
     that's why they call him The Mailman" (NBC, 3/12).
