FOX SPORTS NET GROWS TODAY AS SPORTSCHANNELS BECOME HISTORY

          Today, SportsChannel's Pacific, Chicago, Ohio, New
     England and New York outlets, along with the MSG Network,
     will become rebranded under the Fox Sports Net and national
     programming on FSN will now reach nearly 60 million
     subscribers.  Rupert Murdoch and Cablevision Chair Charles
     Dolan will officially "flip the switch" signaling the
     changeover today in New York (FSN).  FSN placed three-page
     ads in the N.Y. dailies announcing today's switch-over.  It
     featured the logos of the Devils, Islanders, NHL Rangers,
     Knicks, Nets, Mets, Yankees and MSG surrounding the FSN
     logo, with the tag line: "Now It's Not Only The New York
     Area They Have In Common, It's Fox Sports Net" (THE DAILY).
