IMG'S IAN TODD TO FINISH EUROPEAN TOUR FOR POST IN BEAVERTON

1.21.1998

          IAN TODD, Senior Exec VP/Managing Dir IMG Europe, Africa
     and Middle East, will join Nike as VP/Global Sports Marketing
     on June 1.  Todd will report to Nike COO Tom Clarke and will
     oversee the company's worldwide sports marketing as well as
     Nike Sports Entertainment.  Todd has had a 26-year career at
     IMG and also served as the Marketing Dir of the '92
     Albertville Winter Games. In related news, Nike promoted Dir
     of Sports Marketing RUDY CHAPA to VP/Sports Marketing (Nike).
