NAMES IN THE NEWS

          Australian 13-year-old tennis player TODD REID has left
     NICK BOLLETTIERI's Tennis Academy and is now training under
     RICK MACCI.  Reid's manager, PETER COLBERT, said he has
     scheduled appearances for Reid on DAVID LETTERMAN's "Late
     Show" and BRYANT GUMBEL's "Public Eye" (TENNIS WEEK, 1/15).
     JULIE FOUDY was awarded FIFA's Fair Play Award for her
     "commitment to bringing and end to the use of child labor in
     the manufacture of soccer balls."  Foudy is the first woman
     and first American to receive the award (THE DAILY).
