PHOENIX MUTUAL FINDS A HOME IN NCAA SPONSORSHIP

          The NCAA and Host Communications officially announced
     that CT-based Phoenix Home Life Mutual Insurance Co. has
     signed a five-year corporate partnership agreement.  Phoenix
     will have exclusive promotional and marketing rights to use
     all official NCAA registered trademarks and will be included
     in the NCAA marketing efforts through the year 2002 for the
     Association's 81 championship events in 22 sports at more
     than 500 sites nationwide (Host Communications).
